The Manny Pacquiao Foundation
in cooperation with
"Blessings in These Guys"
(a show to benefit the underprivileged within the Philippines and throughout Asia)
The story of poverty and hopelessness is not a new one. Lack of education, lack of direction, lack of even the most basic of necessities are creating unimaginable problems to our human condition. We see it everyday and get desensitized by the moving realities of the need and the constant plea to help. Only a chosen few realize the importance of giving back and are willing to take on an obligation that most of us steer away from.
Manny Pacquiao is a prime example of practicing generosity. He has helped countless numbers of people, not requiring recognition or thanks for his efforts. He has donated so much... just because... with no red tape, no complicated planning.
No man can do this alone. Manny was blessed with the ability to reach far more than his boxing fans. He has given hope through education, sports, creation of jobs, and has not turned his back to his countrymen who desperately need. He has helped improve the lives of underprivileged individuals living in the Philippines. This is where we can all help. We can continue to bring hope to an impoverished society in the Philippines who has gotten accustomed to "suffering" as the norm.
Apl de Ap of the Black Eyed Peas has shared very similar goals of giving back to the children and the communities within the Philippines and Asia.
With this joint venture, we are extremely proud to announce, with the cooperation of the Give2Asia-Apl Foundation, we are presenting The Manny Pacquiao Foundation on April 4, 2009, to benefit our brothers and sisters in the Philippines and Asia.
With the generous help of our Filipino-American artists, we promise that this event, to be held at The Conga Room in Los Angeles, will be a fun and a meaningful evening.
Your support and sponsorship is and will always be greatly appreciated.
Let's do this!!!
